Curved Harmony Fireplace

This project presents a striking example of modern interior design where a fireplace becomes the heart of the living space, merging functionality with refined aesthetics. The composition is built around a sculptural, curved wall that organically connects warm natural wood with light, smooth plaster surfaces. The gentle curve not only adds a dynamic, flowing character but also softens the overall geometry of the room, creating a balanced interplay between straight lines and rounded forms. The vertical wooden section houses open shelving with integrated backlighting, which creates a soft, atmospheric glow in the evening and highlights the natural grain of the wood. This shelving is not only decorative but also functional, offering space for books, small art objects, or accessories that personalize the space.

The fireplace itself is designed with an extended horizontal base finished in light stone, giving the impression of a continuous platform. A large firebox with a glass corner construction ensures that the flames are visible from different viewing angles, adding depth and life to the room. Inside, the fire area is complemented by neatly arranged logs, reinforcing the connection to natural materials. The black metal framing of the firebox introduces a strong yet minimal accent, grounding the design visually.

The surrounding environment continues the same philosophy: muted, neutral colors create a calm background, while textures — from smooth plaster to tactile wood — bring sensory richness.
